The overall goal of this workshop will be to learn about TDA, develop TDA questions and develop strategies for application in the classroom that lead to increased student achievement.
Participants will develop a working definition of Text Dependent Analysis Questions.
•Participants will analyze TDA questions created by others
• Participants will develop TDA questions
•Analyze the state TDA scoring guidelines
•Participants will practice scoring student work using the above guidelines
•Participants will analyze student work to diagnose student strengths and needs related to TDA
•Participants will develop a list of instructional strategies to be used in the classroom
Throughout this workshop, you will learn independently as well as collectively with this class as a virtual learning community (VLC). We have a variety of participants from all over PA.
