Schools that do not have sufficient funding to offer new and enriching programs often have the accompanying dilemma of no staff with the time and experience to pursue and apply for funding. Grant funding allows schools to enhance or expand successful programs, implement proven programs that increase student achievement, offer creative programs that expand students’ horizons, provide capacity-building professional development for staff, and improve educational resources for the school and community.
Our grant specialists provides schools and IU programs with support for grant competitions throughout the proposal development process, from assessing needs and developing programs, to constructing narratives and budgets, to coordinating and mapping resources and programs, and applying for competitive funds from local, state, and national funding sources. We assist programs in navigating and learning the grant development process to increase staff capacity to develop successful grants.
