The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is an Apple-authorized provider of Apple Professional Learning content. AIU Apple Education Trainers can help educators curate, create, and publish digital learning materials with Apple products. Workshops can be offered that help educators make the most effective use of iPad or Mac as a tool for learning and teaching. Workshop topics include:

• Exploring the iBooks Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store, and learning how to select valuable resources appropriate to instructional needs, based on a quality rubric.
• Personalizing, managing, and sharing learning by creating custom iTunes U courses.
• Understand the Apple Professional Learning approach to creating an open and constructive learning environment.
