The AIU Educator Induction Program© is a convenient, cost-effective service providing districts and schools a leading-edge service designed to meet their needs. Through this program novice educators (Level I) are instructed in areas relevant to their early success in the educational environment. Composed of online modules, the course guides the participants through a variety of topics via rigorous instruction, interactive discussions, and engaging media to complete performance tasks pertinent to their early careers. Each module is facilitated by an expert in the field. The module content includes the following topics: classroom organization and parent communication; PA Core Standards; effective behavioral practices; assessments and data-driven instruction; education in the digital age; as well as educator evaluation and professionalism. The capstone module is an action research project conducted by the inductees. The program also requires a verification of mentoring for the inductees.
